PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi Announces PSL 11 Dates and New Team Auction Schedule

Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 is scheduled to take place from March 26 to May 3, 2026, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi confirmed on Sunday.
The announcement came during the PSL’s second global roadshow in New York, attended by current and former cricketers including Salman Ali Agha, Abrar Ahmed, Saim Ayub, Saud Shakeel, Faheem Ashraf, Wasim Akram, and Ramiz Raja.
“A lot of investors here asked about the PSL timeline. I can confirm that PSL 11 will start on March 26, with the final planned for May 3, by the will of Almighty Allah,” Naqvi revealed.
In addition, the PCB chief shared updates on the auction for the two new PSL teams, which has now been scheduled for January 8, 2026. He also announced that the bid submission deadline has been extended to December 22, 2025, reflecting growing interest from investors in Europe, the USA, the Middle East, and beyond.
The global roadshows are part of the PCB’s outreach strategy to engage international investors ahead of the auction of the two new franchises.
PSL, which began in 2016 with five teams, is set to expand with these additions. The league previously expanded in 2018 with the introduction of Multan Sultans, bringing it to six teams. With the addition of two more franchises, PSL 11 will feature eight teams, marking its first major restructuring in seven years.
A few days earlier, Mohsin Naqvi shared details about the extended auction timeline on his X handle, also highlighting the upcoming second roadshow aimed at attracting investors globally.
